Very nice to point out the exposure transition could be smoother, I m curious to know the difference (and how important is 10 bit 4:2:2 in your opinion) between the feelworld and the ninja 5 with the fuji as it seems to be two good monitors.

A very well-balanced review. I like how other reviews spend 25% of the time explaining the improvements while spending 75% of their time explaining that it sucks because the autofocus isn't as good as the one of Sony or Canon. Meanwhile they will gladly ignore the shortcomings of these cameras that cost twice as much.

Thank you for the excellent review! Would you recommend the XT-4 for someone’s first real camera (beyond that of an iPhone 11 Pro)? I’ve been itching to buy a mirrorless for years, but have always been intimidated by how much there is to learn – although I’ve learned a ton from watching your channel! If you would recommend, can you also suggest what maybe a good first general use introductory lens to use with the XT-4 (mostly will be using for stills of family, dog, and nature – although my wife may use for teaching videos)? Thank you for another excellent review. When reviewing Fuji lenses, please include a comparison between the 16-55mm & 16-80mm from the point of view of general walking around lens. From what I have read the condescending is the 16-55 is supported optically, the 16-80 looses sharpness at 16 & 80, & the 16-55 is bulky, detracting from its appeal. Your opinion would greatly appreciated & valued. Perhaps the bulkiness is not as severe as most reviewers have stated. Perhaps the superior IQ of the 16-55 makes up for the reduced focal length, allowing for cropping to compensate for the shorter focal length. I will be purchasing the XT4 but have difficulty deciding between these 2 standard zooms (I take stills 95% of the time to record family activities, some travel & street as well).

However, I am currently in a state of dilemma. Well, I recently switched systems from Canon to Fuji and I have a hard time deciding which lens should I get. I’m currently using an X-T4 and loving it so far. I am a photographer (just a hobbyist) and I have an XF 10-24 f4 because I need the wide angle shot to take photos of cityscape/landscapes and also did a bit of vlogging with it as well. I would be doing mainly photograph still, but would like to do some videography in the future. What lens should I go with next? I’m torn between the XF 16-55mm f2.8 or a bunch of primes of 23mm f2 + 35mm f2 + 50mm f2. I’m not considering the fast primes of f1.4 because I heard the autofocus is not great as it’s an old lens with old focusing motors. The f1.4 primes are great lenses which produce amazing pictures (don’t get me wrong), but I wouldn’t mind the f2 as they have better motors and faster autofocus which will help my videography in the future. I am aware that the XF 16-55 f2.8 is great for video as well because of its linear motor (LM) with silent yet fast autofocus.

So knowing that I’m just a hobbyist photographer who would like to try to produce cinematic videos in the future, which lens do you recommend? XF 16-55mm f2.8 or the f2 primes? Cost will not be an issue for me as they add up to roughly the same price. Thanks! Your opinion on this will be greatly appreciated.

I was really to happy to see that you reviewed this camera because as always your reviews are excellent.o am really interested in buying this camera so I would like to ask you few questions. If you had to choose one lens for this camera what would that be? The 16-55 pehaps? Since the 16-55 has no ois in lens, is there a noticeable difference when using ibis on this lens versus the 18-55 which has ois in lens? I really like this camera but I don't know if to wait for the canon Eos r6, but then again I would not want to spend another 1000 euros more What are your thoughts please ???
