Redick did the old lawyer routine, they talk about other topics (Texas Governor), etc. Instead of addressing the issue. Marant has a moral problem, and he should be held accountable for his actions.

Uh...what? Why are we upset with Ja? Is he kidding? The fans are upset because he's trying to act like something he's not. The team is upset because it looks like it can't control its players. The league is upset because it significantly damages the NBA's image. You don't have to "break a law" to get punished at work. Redick doesn't seem to understand that concept.
