People are giving Stephen A Smith too much credit. He promised a beatdown that never came. All he did was say how mad he was at Whitlock, and that Whitlock is disliked by others. We already knew that. Thought he was gonna drop some facts, or at least defend against the accusations, but he did neither.

Im not a Whitlock fan, I only watched his show to see what this was about. My take is SAS did himself a disservice, because he proved Whitlocks point. All Stephen A did was call him names and attack him as a man. Whitlocks video was calling out many inaccuracies in SAS book with thorough research and evidence to back up each claim. SAS just called him names...

Realize that if you actually watched yesterday's rebuttal by Whitlock on Fearless (and I did watch SAS 50+ minute in its well lemme say this... One person screaming grade school level talking about receipts. The other calmly read the actual receipt (email) live and systematically broke down every point attempted to be made. Who are you more likely to believe? Kudos to Lebetard for referring more than once about Whitlock being a journalist. You have to ask your pastor for forgiveness for what he is about to witness? You mean like all the frauds that go to their church and behave in a manner opposite of what is being preached and taught. SAS needs a pass to let his own personal devil out. Whitlock once called Dan a sell out ... the guy who left ESPN because they fired his fat bastard, Chris, without telling him. There's a reason Dan's staff rarely leaves the show. He takes care of them. Sometimes we have to fight the battles for Dan. Dan's too nice to torch Whitlock.

Why doesn't anyone ever address what Whitlock brings up re: Stephen A Smith? Smith didn't do it. LeBatard didn't do it. They all just attack Jason's character but don't address what Whitlock is saying about SAS. :( If what Whitlock is saying is true, it shouldn't matter how much everyone dislikes Whitlock.
