Overwatch 2 Blizzard Scared and Changes Store Plus New Reaper Skin

Overwatch 2 has an ingame store that might not actually be allowed by law in some countries so blizzard has made changes to the overwatch 2 store. They also added some new Overwatch skins

The Reaper skin is cool, but in the previous game it would have been a reward for weekly wins during the event. Way too much money per item.

I'd love to see this system fail and crash into the garbage where it belongs. I love how everyone is fighting the bullshit. The community still hasn't perished unlike the spirit of the team that run this game.

Wow man. I used to love logging into Overwatch during the holidays and doing the events. It always felt alive and festive, and it was exciting seeing the new skins, knowing that I can actually obtain them. They managed to suck all the joy out of these events, and it just feels so gross seeing every little thing cost so much now. F all this. I'm just gonna enjoy the skins I already have and jump in and out of OW2 on a casual basis from now on. This is a disaster, and I much would have rather paid retail price to get a quality product that will keep me engaged for years, like OW1 did, rather than having a soulless free to play store constantly thrown in my face, which voids all the joy the previous game used to offer me.

This is bloody ridiculous that they rebrand overwatch and give it a battle pass only because they couldn't bleed the ungodly amount of money they want out of us with lootboxes because its illegal in some places and they needed a new way to bleed us dry

That Reaper skin is not worth it. You can bet if OW1 was still live, that would be an epic skin reward available from doing the weekly Halloween event challenges that we used to have, win 9 games or whatever.

If these skins were around $5 I would have already bought multiple, but at these prices I'm buying zero. Also I hate that the "legacy" coins can't be used in store on new items.

The reaper emote is reference or rather is the dance that was performed by the freed slaves of Costa Chica. Honestly never thought I’d see it in a game but I’m glad I can.

I genuinely feel sorry for all the new people that didn't play overwatch 1 and gotten themselves cool skins by either luck or hard grinding gold. Not that they should've played back then, just a shame that they have to pay dumb prices when it used to technically be free. Who would've thought Blizzard would have some people wanting loot boxes back.

I think Junkerqueens and Kirikos skins should be made Epic instead. It's the base model with color changes + basically one accessory. I like to compare them to the Ana skin with the panther mask, Brigs Ironclad or Baptise medic skin (arguably of higher quality tho)
