Epic STREET FOOD Tour in Quito, Ecuador

I went out on an epic Ecuadorian Street Food Tour in Quito, Ecuador with my local friend, José Alberto Bueno. José was featured on Master Chef Ecuador, and a great co-pilot for a foodie vlog in Quito. Filmed by @suarezmedia 🙏

Here are the locations we visited on this Quito Ecuador Food Tour Vlog:

Paulita del Centro - Cevichocho is a vegan ceviche featuring lupini beans, onions, cilantro, plantains, roasted corn, and a tomato sauce. It's a healthy and delicious way to start our Ecuadorian food tour here in Quito.

Los Jugos de Cecilia (Plaza Arenas) - You can't come to Ecuador without taking advantage of all the incredible local fruits this ecosystem has to offer. There are so many juice (jugo) stands around Quito, and Jugos Cecilia in Plaza Arenas is an institution in the city.

Sabor Costeño El Manaba - For lunch (almuerzo), we visit a local favorite restaurant in Quito. This stop on our food tour featured incredible curry-like seafood sauces and traditional Ecuadorian food.

Mercado Santa Clara - For more amazing Ecuadorian fruits, we visit Mercado Santa Clara in downtown Quito next. The feature here is also the incredible food stalls who offer the quintessential Ecuadorian dish; Hornado - slow-roasted pulled pork.

Ananké Guápulo - We make a quick stop at this beautiful restaurant for a traditional drink called Canelazo - hot spiced cinnamon alcohol drink.

El Parque de Las Tripas - For the ultimate Quito Food Tour, you have to stop at Parque de las Tripas for an iconic night market. The featured Ecuadorian dish here is Tripa (Tripe), which isn't my personal favorite. However, the night is saved with Empanadas de Viento - delicious, cheese-filled fried dough covered in sugar!

Ok, I've definitely eaten tomate de árbol raw. 😂 Great video - Ecuadorian cuisine is often underrated (as is Ecuador itself) and I agree that it's one of the most interesting culinary destinations in South America. Just don't tell costeños that you're eating mariscos in Quito... you'll never hear the end of it.

I’m happy that you like Ecuadorian food ❤for me one of my top favorites foods 👌 there is way, better hornados lol and the key it’s the onions 🥗 and ají it’s not to feel healthy 😅 it is the Best 🙌🏻combination omg so good 😊 Ecuadorian crabs 🦀 are unique ❤ mmmm tripa it’s the texture the problem I hate with my life chewy things, that never dissolves lol 😂but the flavor it’s good👌 the problem in Ecuador 🇪🇨 it’s that you have to know where food is delicious because not all the restaurants prepare the food the right way with the real authentic flavor 🙄🤭✌️great video
