Hey guys! My name is Jeff Thorman from Home RenoVision DIY, and we are here to launch our brand new Spanish language channel! I don't speak a lick of Spanish, but we've been getting a lot of requests from people asking us to provide translated versions of our DIY Home Renovation video tutorials. Now, we are doing something that has never been done before; we are paying someone to dub our videos over in Spanish, because we don't want you to get distracted trying to read subtitles at the bottom of the screen while simultaneously trying to learn new home renovation skills. Wowwww!!! Man you freaking rock, I love your love for the hispanic/Latin community. You know us bi-linguals will correct your translators if they are wrong with their translation 🤪. Also keep in mind that not all Spanish languages are the same, so what one thing may mean to one person it might mean something entirely different to another. Spanish is not an easy language, it's words can be translated in different ways... not as easy as English atleast, but I love what you are doing. Great job!!!

Hi Jeff! I send you a big hug from Mexico! I try to watch every one of your videos, even when I know english perfectly (100%) the translation to spanish it's a great idea that would be very helpful for some of my friends.
Personally, I'm a single woman and... everybody tells me "pay somebody to do what you need to do in your apartment", but... I REALLY want to learn how to make simple renovations... for example, electrical... (put some extra outlets) without breaking and puting some tube and electrical cord inside the concrete walls (all buildings in Mexico are made with concrete) so... I have to put some conduit outside the wall... but I don't know electricity.
Another example... plumbing... I REALLY want to learn plumbing because in a few months from now, I want to remodel the laundry area... and I want to design and put (BY MYSELF) all the plumbing for water, gas, etc.
I don't want to go away without telling you how much I enjoy watching your videos... you are a perfect craftsman in home renovations, and only a few people have that gift.

Watched part 4 of the drywall video in spanish to check it out. Didn't expect someone to be voicing over in such a seemingly joyful way. I dont really understand it, but it does sound nice. Haters gonna hate, it's not perfectly lip synced, but a lot of voice over on TV is easily 2 seconds late, and you can still annoyingly hear the original version behind anyway. Thumbs up.

Brilliant idea. I appreciate the effort and know it well. I have about 40 voice over videos I've made in English for our local water utility and I've recently hired a lady to record a Spanish version. Wrapping up that project is going to be a fun challenge.

Hey from H-town. Great idea! You might consider translating this particular video into different languages. It doesn't make sense to say all this in English (because your audience speaks the language) when speakers of a different language may not understand this new and wonderful idea. Thanks for all you do! You and your team are a wealth of knowledge.
