Van Life Info: Propane tank sizes and prices for camping or living in your vehicle

These are at ACE Hardware. They gave me permission to show you your options in the size of your tank. At this time propane is selling for $3.40
per gal. All RVers, van dwellers, campers and boodockers know propane is important for cooking.
Having the right setup is important if you travel camp or live out of your vehicle. Hope this helps you on your choices.

Go to the propane company where ever you are and get the size tank you want in aluminum much lighter. Yes they are more expensive, but much lighter than the steel tanks. Get the largest tank you can move and then they sell a adaptor to move propane from one tank to another and another adaptor for filling the one lb tanks. There are even videos on how to the adaptor is 10 bucks at Lowe's or home Depot.

Where the " helpful hardware man?" I had no idea there were so many sizes. My late honey had one that came off a forklift- it was small and the hose came off the side 🤷 Thank you for sharing as you "we" learn

I bought a 1 1/2 gallon size last year and it was about $65. I thought that was as pricey.
