Checking the Password Bouncer Web Service URL

The Password Bouncer Web service must be accessible to the Avatier Identity Management Suite, or AIMS Server, even when Password Bouncer is not used by your organization. The Password Bouncer Web Service is also used by AIMS for Password Station and Identity Enforcer. To check the availability of the Web Service, select the Password Bouncer module and Global under Options. Under the section Password Filter Web Service Failover Options, copy the URL next to Primary into a browser’s address field on a new tab. And, you should receive a response from the Password Bouncer Web Service. When you receive a page not found error, return to the configuration menu and update the Password Filter Web Service Failover URL to match the path of the Web Service in your organization.
