Hi sir - quite unrelated, but do I have to know Volumes of revolution and vectors on a line for pure a level maths edexcel?

Hi, can you only use algebraic division if the fraction is improper or can you use it even if the fraction isn't?

just a thought, can you not just convert to cartesian first in terms of y and x. then you don't need to change the limits either because they are given in terms of x and you are integrating with dx.

edit: just did it with the first question and got the same correct answer of 2sqrt3 + 3

Hi Mr Bicen thank you for making the video. Its truly helpful.
I would like to ask about Q3b at the very last of the video. I got 58.9 for the Area. Is the answer in the mark scheme correct? Because I've asked my math teacher and we got confused as well.
It would be extremely helpful if the working steps can be shown
thank you very much

why can we not use keep, change, flip process when integrating 2t+1/1+t. And then integrate the value of that?

May I ask where can I get a solution for these? They’re not in the new spec textbooks

Hi sir. Have u taught “Volumes of revolution around the x-axis” under the chapter Integration? It’s a part of my specification
