$600 Honda Build. Amazing Progress Already. Junkyard Rescue!
Today the $600 civic build is coming together and the drivers side got painted. Also, the paint did not match perfectly so I decided to blend the paint onto the door. The car is coming together and the headlights where also refinished and look like new!!

Notice one of your colleagues mentioned the shades of white. Between the 6th and 7th gen., I believe there was only Champion and Taffeta whites on the Civics. Quite a difference among the two, with Champion being the warmer, but whites both bleach or chalk, so even an OEM mix is gonna be a bit changed against old paint. A fade in several segments usually make the most seamless transitions. Do appreciate the walk-through on the paint after the body repairs. Please take care.

What I do to blend out white is lay out my first coat like u did yours on the front door, drag the second coat out and kinda flick out the edge in a bunch of different directions using about half trigger and pull ur gun away from the panel more. If it still looks funky another trick especially in white but works for any color, Mix your base 1;1 with a clear base coat if u have it and drag ur edge a little farther and it will be perfect! That’s my personal method, if u try it let me know how it goes!
