I completely agree about setting expectations. My husband and I rarely argue because we have super clear expectations for each other and we communicate about things if they aren’t working.

What if you agree on the expectations and then one person keeps not doing their side but expecting you to do your side.

Eh it depends. If you constantly have to ask for them to do something they constantly don't do or make excuses not to I can understand why they are so frustrated and wanting to lay it out on paper on what is really getting done by who. Most couples are working and splitting bills 50/50 an women are getting tired of being the home maker, mother, care giver and working full time and paying bills while their partner prioritizes friends and video games
