The defense attorney needs to just say NO QUESTIONS because he's just asking what has already been brought out by the prosecution

Too much crime is blamed on mental instability. This woman was aware she was performing heinous actions. She is completely responsible for her actions. Drugs are not considered an extenuating circumstance for criminal behaviour. She needs to be put away for life.

She's very competent. The fact that she took time to hide parts of him around the house then tells cops have fun finding him; says she knew all along what she was doing!

Everyone is questioning the mother and it needs to stop. Trauma reactions are different for everyone. I have experienced trauma on more than one occasion and I am the only person in my family that can remain calm, almost nonchalant about the situation. Whereas my mom runs through the house screaming and crying. Some of these situations required action to help a dying family member and my mom was of no help, not even to 911 dispatchers. My calmness doesn't make me heartless, it helps me get through the immediate situation and I grieve in private.

I can't imagine how Shad's mom managed to stay so calm after finding his head. I would have been hysterical, and inconsolable. Maybe she was in shock, and that's why she was able to so clearly speak to the police in that 911 call? I would have been terrified that the killer was still in the house too, even though his mom had said she heard the door close (like the sound of someone leaving, I think she said). My heart breaks for Shad's mom for having to see the horror that was inflicted on him, and that her boyfriend saw it too. Just unimaginable. My condolences to their entire family. RIP, Shad... or haunt Taylor's nightmares for the rest of her life... whichever works for ya.

Thank you CourtTV for your trial coverage. Our legal system is fascinating. I also appreciate the commentary sections.

Oh boy! Her poor attorney struggled hard through his opening statement! I have a feeling he is going to struggle hard throughout this whole trial.

The judge looks like he is over the whole thing because it is so awful.

I'm so sorry to the Mother of Shad... I can tell by the way she's talking to the 911 operator that part of her brain has disconnected from her feelings ( Shock ) It can take day's and months before it hits her ... I hope she had all the support around her to be there when that happens...RIP Shad..💔

Those were some of the weakest opening statements I've ever heard, wow. I've also never seen lawyers stay seated during questioning. WI is weird 🤔

She looked very disgusted with her lawyer… I was waiting for her to pounce on him 😳😳

I am addicted to police interrogations and courtroom drama. WHY? Because all of the accused look so normal and have committed horrible murders, rape and other crimes. I realized you can't really know someone.
