was looking around at my work for material to spin up a plug on the lathe but then ran across a olympus lens from a microscope. fit in there perfect plus now I can see inside the hose for no reason whatsoever.

I did the same with a 2” pvc plug from Lowe’s. The black rubber one that comes with clamp. Fits right over.

The plug made a very vary small difference in the whistle, so small you can barely tell. The S&B intake made more whistle then the plug but still not a huge difference. The plug looks pretty cool though that just about it.

I installed a bank ram air cold air intake makes my l5p sound like a power stroke whistle... well kinda.

Waste of money. just leave the hole open and put filter media over it and it wont hurt anything
