Ben Affleck is gonna go down in history as the only Batman actor who never got a solo film, and never got to fight his own damn villains.

Warner Bros should just let their directors do their thing.

I totally agree thanks for addressing that!!

You can thank Warner Brothers for ruining multiple filmmakers vision for the DCEU. Also the Snyder Cut is canon to Man Of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice: Ultimate Edition

Also wb interfered with lots of dc movies and those were the reasons that the movies would flop.

Correction; the Warner EXECS s ruined the DCEU with all the flip-flopping and virtue signaling rather than sticking to the original plan.

MCU:lets give the fans what they want
DCEU:lets do the opposite

If you are not aware of the fact then please go & watch Wonder Woman 2017 followed by Man of Steel and then watch the Extended version of Dawn of Justice, Aquaman & then the Zack Snyders Justice League these are some great masterpieces, if the WB executives had not intervened then the DCEU could've been far better than any other superhero franchise.

it's crazy to think that the watchmen movie was directed by the same guy who made batman v superman

It's clear that warner brothers just doesn't give a shit about stewarding these properties into the modern day, when you look at something like Velma that they looked at and approved it's over

I honestly blame the Warner Bros for this, the company is going all over place and their plans are literally failing…

James Gunn had to make sacrifices because of all the bad press from the dc actors and some people who are new to dc and marvel don’t know what a multiverse is so James Gunn had to save dc’s reputation by making all those decisions and if James Gunn is lying about battinson not being cannon to the new dceu then it’s worth it

The fact that most of the movies he mentioned were Batman movies

We need to stop saying DC when it's WB. WB call the shots DC just sign papers saying they can use them.

This is why I’m actually glad to just have a hard reboot, just start clean and give DC a good name again

My best friend is a nerd too but not as much as me so even though he is obsessed with the live action film's/TV shows he doesn't read comic books. So he only thinks Batman and Flash are the only good things in DC when I am obsessed with DC because I've read comic books and seen the animated films.

We need a reboot of the DCEU

I think it's a stretch to say it "ruined DC" because we've still been getting stuff like The Batman, Joker, and the DCAMU alongside it; it's not like they put all their eggs in one rotten basket, and even the DCEU isn't really _bad_ so much as just woefully mismanaged

Agreed with everything here. Cavill was the best casting in any role I've ever seen

Tbh I just want another Lantern Corps movie, ever since they failed at making a GL movie with Ryan Reynolds, Hal Jordan's character got thrown in the trash and the whole lantern corps universe as a whole got ignored despite being arguably the best universe, and a lantern ring is said to be the universe's most powerful weapon.

I'd be interested in character studies like the recent Joker film for other DC characters. Unfortunately, those will rehash the same origin stories everyone already knows with a different tone, then attempt another EU in the midst of superhero fatigue.

If we're being honest, it has just as much to do with the status quo nature of comics, that refuse to push new storylines in favor of rehashing the success of decades past.
