The Biafra War, also known as the Nigerian Civil War, was a conflict that took
place in Nigeria from 1967 to 1970. Let's take a closer look at this devastating conflict.

The war was fought between the Nigerian government and the secessionist state
of Biafra, which had declared its independence from Nigeria in 1967.

The Biafra War was one of the deadliest conflicts in African history. It claimed
the lives of more than a million people, most of them civilians.

The war was fueled by ethnic and political tensions in Nigeria. Biafra was largely
populated by the Igbo ethnic group, who felt marginalized and oppressed by the Nigerian
government.

The war also led to a massive humanitarian crisis, as millions of Biafrans were
displaced and faced starvation.

The conflict was marked by widespread atrocities and human rights abuses. Civilians were targeted and massacred, and there were reports of rape and torture.

The war finally ended in 1970, when Biafra surrendered to the Nigerian government. But the scars of the conflict have lasted for generations.

Instead of fighting the real enemies who invaded your country, you turn and kill each other 💔

The war is as a result of the mineral resources deposited on the Biafra land and the NG and the colonialists swore to wipe out Biafra no matter what. NG and its accomplices were still committing genocide update and refused to allow Biafrans to breathe
