Are girl altar boys allowed to wear a cassock & surplice??? I thought that was only allowed if they are in the choir. Not the choir of the Altar but the scola choir. Black dress shoes only should be worn so as not to be a distraction.

check out video, "Prayer Hands, Be A Better Altar Server". It's much more reverent than clasping hands and hanging the arms down. And placing the empty hand on the heart when passing the priest the wine and water.

There is 3 bows actully the nod bow the full body bow and the jeniflec when you are carrying something do the nod head if not jeniflec relax walk slowly your partner needs to do and walk slowly too you bring the chalice and the sebaryo and the cruets and the lavabo (tagalog) and the finger towel bow if your going to the other side bow first at the altar before going (to arrange the chalice) first purificator and then the panen and then the pall im actully an altar server :) (from the philippines) im seven and im serving at san lorenzo ruiz 2018

Nooo…!
Not the “modified way” of folding ones hands.
There is only one proper, reverent placement of the hands:
Altar servers, lectors, deacons, priests, bishops should all, without exception, assume the reverent posture.
The laity are watching all of these goings on and they, being already poorly formed, will dumb down their own hand’s posture by clasping their fingers and hanging them down to their waists or lower.
