Vladdy is gone. Same with Bo. Blow the team up and start the rebuild. Fire the Cleveland Squad currently in charge and reboot the roster construction. Focus on a Dodgers type of baseball ops guy. Rebuild the farm system and maybe you end up with an Orioles type team.

We're looking like White Sox North in TO in a couple seasons, but with a worse farm system!

It doesn’t help at all and it’s not really “a deal”, it’s just avoiding arbitration.

It's good they can agree on something. The Jays do need a gate sale there's no guarantee they could get another Vladdy in the next 15-30years *shrug*

If Vlad goes to free agency, he is gone from Toronto without a doubt .

He’s not worth “franchise money”. Paying 35-40 million a year for 30 hr and 100 RBI’s is ridiculous in today’s market.
He’s also don’t nothing in “playoffs”.

Samson, the man who destroyed my Montreal Expos alone with his father-in-law Jeffrey Loria. Then got a team in Florida. Scammer.

It’s too late to sign Vlad Guerrero if you’re the Blue Jays. He’s going free agent so they better trade him

Vladdy has limited marketing possibilities. And Advertising Agencies have hardly been knocking down his door.

As he gets older he will regress. Chances are he will also have a weight problem at some point. Vladdy has already told the Jays that he will quit negotiating for an extension at the start of Spring Training.

You're clueless smh 🙄 Vladdy is NOT ASKING FOR Soto #'s or anything unreasonable & should have been extended ages ago! Will cost Jays more then what he's asking if they don't sign him & if they don't get it done before spring training opening day he will be gone ugh

Id pass on him. He can barly crack 30 HRs. For a a first basemen thats bad.

They should just trade him at the deadline. Blue Jays wont be competitive next year.

I don't think he looks good on a 10+ year deal. But the Jays are also nothing without him
