Ohtani has to be in the conversation as one of the greatest baseball players of all time, for what he is doing as a hitter and pitcher. It's unheard of. Simply majestic to watch.

even though the final score wasn't close, it was closer than a lot of people thought. China played a great game but Japan was simply that much better

I’ve been trying to get back into baseball after a very long time. This is the first game I’ve watch in its entirety in probably a decade and a half. The scoreline might not show it but China fought hard in this game. Respect to the kid starting for them and their manager for calming him and the rest of the team down. Also, Ohtani is my new favorite player. Dude is ridiculously talented.

Gosh, the crowd was absolutely hype today! Losing sleep was worth it watching Ohtani and Ohtani had an excellent performance, and to top it off with a 2-run double! Lars with an excellent catch and some great at bats! It's so cool to see him gain popularity amongst Team Japan and the Japanese public! Grind the Pepper!
