All of you, please stick your head further into the sand, rational people can still hear you. If any of you can offer research that suggests that this is non-human related, and research that can provide the causes in nature for the climate change we're experiencing, I'm all ears. "We know the weather has changed in the past" is not a good enough response to studies that show a direct correlation between human activities and climate change!

@ arnold schwarzenegger .All I do know is this: that the planet has heated up and cooled down at various points in its history without any help from factories, lorries or industry. Other planets have done, and continue to do, the same: I am still waiting for an answer to John Redwood's excellent point that the surface temperature of Mars has risen over the past few decades "and they are still looking for the 4x4s that did it".

Ever hear of the butterfly effect, no not the movie, but the actual scientific/mathematical description? It was discovered while studying weather predictions. It states that in any dynamically changing system small changes in inputs give rise to massive changes in long term behavior. This means that weather prediction a century out is like whether prediction a few weeks from now, it is impossible to know with high accuracy.

Funny thing about sea levels, if Pacific levels rise, Atlantic levels rise too. West coast--East coast. San Fran--NYC. Both coastal cities. Getting the correlation yet?

Umm. Their are no jobs in the Appalachian Mountains as it is now. But anyways, absolutely right. I see the Ocean almost everyday. It has not moved an or even a millimeter inland the last 14 years. I know someone who can say it has not moved in over 30 years. You should tell this to the rich people on The Island in Palm Beach, Florida that they should move out now. Or better yet, why not tell Arnold to stop flying his private jet almost every day.
