Fix the Show No Mercy Gunship Bug in Fallout 4

You are on the airship Prydwen and you want to board the Vertibird gunship to fight super mutants at fort Strong but there is no icon to board. Here is how you fix it!

There is only 1 ship for me. It shows the one that only flies to the airport, that's the one it shows the destination marker on and nothing will bring this supposed other ship up. Idk what to do, especially on the Ps4

I couldn't board the Vertibird multiple times. And found out in order to board you need your Power Armor. I tried at least 10 times, then realized i forgot to grab the BOS Power Armor from Proctor Ingram and the moment I did so it gave me the boarding prompt to get aboard the Vertibird Elder Maxon told me to get on. And also a tip. Before you talk to Elder Maxon to get the quest Show No Mercy. Go to Fort Strong first clear out the Super Mutants collect all you can. From the 3 Mini Nukes, to unlocking doors and chests and terminals to the Technical Documents for Proctor Quinlan. Then once it's cleared return to The Prydwen to talk to Elder Maxon. On returning to Fort Strong enemies will respawn right off the bat inside and out. And not to mention locked terminals and safes and chests literally everything respawns even the Mini Nukes. This is a great way to get ammo and Exp. Not to mention those Nuka-Colas.

I had this problem but at the Cambridge police station I couldn’t even get to the prywden. The only way I was able to bypass this bug was using the ultimate jet pack ring mod (basically an infinite flying jet pack). I just used that and flew to the prywden myself once u land and talk to Kelly Danse will magically appear on his own. I hope this helps someone replaying through fallout in 2023 took me hours to finally bypass this bug nothing else worked this will be the only way to bypass if ur stuck st the police station and can’t board
