Just a quick video showing the locations of all 10 lore book unlocks. You can get 5 of these from the Preservation mission, the other 5 from either the mission or the raid. Timestamps below.

5 of these are found at the end of the Preservation mission, searching around and interacting with the objects. The other 5 are found in the room with the symbols, which is before the combat area after you enter the pyramid. There's a room with a bunch of symbols, and you need to hit certain ones to unlock a lore book (as shown in the video). You'll need to repeat that process 5 times, to get all 10 lore books in total.

You can get those ones from either the raid, or in the mission. If you do it in the mission, you'll need to clear the mission 5 times (as you can only do it once per mission). If you do it in the raid, you can simply move to the next encounter, start it and wipe, and then backtrack to the room. This resets the symbols allowing you to do it again.

You can't solo the puzzle in perseverance anymore, you need a group to complete the puzzle.

For doubts in symbols: for the testings I have done, you always have to do as he said, but go back to the first symbol and give it another melee for the lore to pop up. Example:
symbol 1 (melee), symbol 2 (melee), symbol 3 (interact), symbol 4 (shoot), symbol 1 (melee)
That's how I had 2 of them, I am working on the two last ones in the raid checkpoint of the first encounter.

Edit: I have just done the 4 of them and got the shell. Just do 4 symbols as normal and repeat the first one. Get the lore page, start the encounter, wipe and repeat 3 more times.

Good old Bongo. They nerfed it now so you can't two man Preservation for it. You can only do it in the raid... why... cause they've had a track lately of ruining good things.

You can also just use 2 symbols (melee one, activate the other) and do it for all 10 in the beginning encounter of the raid and just keep wiping after doing one. No pages need to be grabbed.

We got all pages doing the symbols then wiping in the raid; I did preservation afterwards and nothing special happened (due to already having the pages). The main interactions we had with the symbols were either shoot, commune(interact) and enter(walk over the red light toward the symbol). Pretty cool ghost shell.

For the repeatable puzzle I just went to orbit after each solve and when I loaded back in I was at the beginning and just redo do the mission up to the glyph room for the next lore page.

So just to clarify things:
- This is still doable in the weekly mission, you don't need to raid to get it done. But you will need 2 other people with you.
- The interact button can be kept on without anyone manning it but the other 3 buttons will have to be triggered at the same time. (2 on melee and 1 shooting)

What I did since I had already soloed the mission up to that point is I created a fireteam on the app and invited 2 people who signed up. I explained the situation and we were able to complete the puzzle and the mission that way.
I got my lore page, and they got credit for the mission without having to do the whole barge escort. Win-win.

Yeah the reason I'm asking because when you stop at 27 seconds in the video it shows the option to reset it so wouldn't that mean you be able to get all 5 in a particular run like I would think if you have the option to reset that you can change the symbols that you have to use or at least have the option to redo the puzzle it should give you more pages though

So I'm on the last step of the Vow of the Disciple Lore Book at 9/10. I've done this 5 times before and know what I'm doing for the Puzzle symbols, but it is not working. In my case the Symbols are Darkness, Traveller, Pyramid and Black Heart, but it simply is not triggering. Does anyone know if Bungle Time Gated them or broke them in this last Tuesday Update?

You don’t have to “melee/interact/shoot” with each button twice. Just hit them once, and after hitting all 4; hit the 1st button again.

So for clarification, you need to do the activation in punch, activate, punch order. You can ignore the fourth glyphs.

I’m honestly about to give up for these symbols man. I keep doing everything to the letter and still no new Lore pages popping up for me. It’s really starting to frustrate me 🤦🏾‍♂️

Thank you for making this video because I was very confused if the last five were only acquire through the raid so you can do the same puzzle through preservation. What I said on Instagram was either you have to do the raid puzzle or you have to wait later in the season to get a legend or Master version of preservation to get the rest through the mission

Didn't know about puzzle glitch, I'll try doing this on the raid I'm doing this weekend, or maybe get a small team just to get me here or something
