We build the windscreen on the doghouse and get a surprise visit from a couple we met five years ago in Mexico during our Pacific cruise, who are now also also refitting a boat and documenting it on YouTube, in a boat shed not far from us. It's a small world!

Love Maya and Aladino and their channel! Actually just found you though thanks to Andy on Sailing Melody. Let's not forget Mark on Sailing Wildlings either. I can't wait for weekly updates from all of you, and those weekly updates make my entire week. The work ethic all of you guys display is incredible and makes me feel even lazier than I know I already am. I'm currently binging all of your episodes to get caught up like I already am with those other folks. Keep up the good work on this amazing project!

It's great seeing Maya and Aladino. It was that visit on their channel that introduced me to yours.
I'm so glad I found you because it's a project I'll enjoy seeing as it moves along.

I stumbled across your channel last week and have been binge watching the last few days. I have watch Maya from the time she was looking at purchasing her $1 boat. Wonderful that you ran into Aladino and Maya again.

Best wishes to you all. Different generation, 77 years old and no experience of these modern materials, I only ever worked on wooden boats, Teak, Pitch Pine and Mahogany but it is wonderful to see the same dedication and patience in your project. I live in France and hope to be around to see the project on the water, thank you so much.

I have a thick red and black plaid flannel pullover. I feel like I would fit in well with these gents. Only one small difference, my boat is a canoe.

So awesome how you all support each other. I found out about this channel from Sailing Melody. And now Maya and Aladino show up. I've been huge fans of theirs for years. It's such an awesome project you have; looking forward to watching it's evolution into your new home.

My other account I’ve been following Sailing Magic Carpet and Leo, Sampson Boat Co, Tally Ho from the first vid. Sailing La Vagabond from first vid. Wind Hippie Sailing, Sailing Parlay Revival. Just found a new channel Camara Sailing. They shortened their mast etc. I have a friend who lives on Whidbey Island. I said to her when the Pandemic began I would sail there from NZ to rescue my friends daughter and her partner in Vancouver, then visit her. My friends daughter has since become a Canadian citizen ☺️ I volunteered at Pollywoodside and sailed on Alma Doepel. Sailing community is the same people everywhere in the world. Port Townsend is a dream for me.

March 30th happens to be my Birthday!! The date of this video. I am here because Today, April 16th, Magic Carpet released their video, and other than stopping to do a Maternity photoshoot, I have been watching you all day. Along with a few other "boat building" YouTube channels, I have suddenly become fascinated with you guys. I have ZERO boat building experience, and my biggest claim to fame of rebuilding anything is that I remodeled my bathroom recently (I am 58). I am really enjoying watching your confidence behind the camera grow, and your videos are becoming way more fascinating as your confidence grows. Thank you for your channel, so far, I am loving it!!!

The needed strength is gets by the glass. Resin only bonds glass together. It demands a lot, a lot !! of rolling

I also love Edensaw. It's like a woodworker's candy store. Windscreen looks really nice. I'm going to check out the Magic Carpet channel too. Thanks for the video.

How fun to see Aladino and Maia, they too make a great team and do very impressive work. Aladino’s craftsmanship is an inspiration for me and his shipwright apprenticeship years really show. Their work on Magic Carpet II is great but for the real wow factor, check out the early episodes so see Aladino reconstruct a totaled Vind

Wow that old glass just peeled right off like it wasn’t meant to be joined. It’s no surprise you had issues with the foam snapping. This is what you call learning by experience. : ) You only make those kinda mistakes once! The silver lining is you get to use the foam again. Keep up the good work.
