Welcome to my channel! In this video, I will be performing Ferdinando Carulli’s Rondo Op. 241. No. 35 Allegretto.
Carulli was an Italian composer and guitarist renowned for his contributions to classical guitar music during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. His compositions are known for their delightful melodies and intricate harmonies, captivating audiences for generations.
In this less famous piece than Op. 241. No. 34, the Allegretto tempo sets a lively and joyful atmosphere right from the start. The melodic lines intertwine with the accompaniment, creating a beautiful dialogue between the different voices of the guitar. The Rondo form adds an element of excitement and variation, as the main theme returns throughout the piece, each time with a new twist or development.

Nice job using the thumb to tame those bass notes. IMO, it's almost a necessity for a classical piece like this.

I've watched a few of your videos, having just stumbled onto your channel yesterday, and I have to say I really appreciate your interpretations.

Great! You show in this video how a simple piece allows you to exploit the resources of the guitar : rubato of course, work on the timbres, the role of the thumb( which is the left hand of the guitarist if we compare him to the pianist) etc... The music is there, on the score, but there is something that is not written, it is the mystery of the great performers 😉☺👑🌞...
