The way points appearing in your FMC automatically indicates it IS reading your Simbrief plan, even though you think it isn't. The way points don't appear by themselves if you haven't made a flight plan already.

Great video! Can you please share the basic checklist which you called out during the tutorial?

I can't get throttle to play . If I pull down to idle it engaged reverse thrusters . I have configured it but still does it .

You can't pause it as it goes crazy when unpaused.
