About to go full Cornette for a second here. This match was not good. Mercedes is not as good as she is booked. Shida needs to be allowed to go somewhere she can be appreciated. Shida is a worker, she has worked on and tweaked her character. Shida actually has some fluidity and believability in what she does, she does the best she can on the mic considering the language barrier. But watch what she does in ring, the triple falcon is something someone her stature could actually do to someone, her striking looks good most of the time. Mercedes her promos don't do it, her strikes and in ring work just don't match all the hype behind her. Am I saying she doesn't deserve a spot on a roster? Not by a long shot, she has enough of everything to be on one of the rosters, just not with the push she has. She is like Road Dogg or XPac, she's solid but not the best. The whole time during this clip and even post match, constantly worrying about her wig or extensions or whatever. Her new finisher just looks more awkward than what it's worth. I just feel like especially with these two, the roles are backwards.

Just don't get it with her and never have.
