It was a horrible phone in every way, but the simple fact that the box came with a charger, case, wireless headphones and even an adapter makes me have a lot of respect for it

If I buy a Fold 5 this year can I feasibly expect it to last 4-5 years without any major hardware failures or repairs needed?

That being as my only phone, and by major repairs that includes battery replacement. My only experience with phones is my iPhone XR that’s 90% the same physical condition it was at launch after almost 5 years - battery health at 85%, minor scuffs on the bottom and sides, buttons work right 95% of the time. I know folds are “less sturdy” than standard phones but you’re the only channel I could find that still uses an older Fold daily that’s more than 2 years old

Serious question, is this fold 1 still worth buying for heavy gaming? I didn't know this galaxy fold lineage design until afew months ago and I've been wondering if fold 1 still worth it, if yes then pretty sure the rest much better. Or it's just like the rest of android phone that doesn't last much (maybe 2years at max after released)for heavy gaming.
