Wow Orchideya ! You have so many different types of Hoyas. For the most part they seem to be doing great. My compacta grows slowly too but I think once it starts to put out a long vine it will make you happier. Mine took a long time to do anything. I think things will pick up when spring really arrives. You have a lot of snow too! I was shovelling yesterday as well. Have a great day!

Liked and subscribed. Wonderful collection you have. Orchids and hoyas are my favourites. My most rewarding hoya is the hoya publicalyx silver pink. Super easy, quite fast growing too, and the leaves are attractive with all those speckled. It grows some long vines too, and they move during the day to different positions looking for something to grab onto. I think if it would find something to grab onto, the leafless long vine will start to grow the leaves I have heard. No trellis yet so now it keeps grabbing at any plant nearby and I have to keep untwirling it off the other plants when I notice. Kind of funny, but I love it! Flowers are gorgeous too. Thanks for sharing your hoyas with us.

All your Hoyas are really healthy and cared for. Your video has prompted me to update my Hoyas, but like you say they are slow growers. Thanks for sharing; all that snow, we have seen no snow this winter only lots and lots of rain.

what a beautiful collection. Maybe in the spring and summer and early fall when the sun is out and hotter the Hoyas will do better. Happy growing.

You have a lovely collection of Hoyas and it's great to see their different growth habits, sizes and leaf shapes etc.

You have a very Nice collection, in a couple of years they will be very bushy and you will say how glad you are that you have made cuttings out of your own plants. They maybe have reduced their growth because it is winter but they will pick up very soon. I do not see what is the problem of having cut them. Isn't that the way we do to get cuttings? Good luck, hope they read this comment and start growing fast, 🤣🤣

I like your hoya villelina, so beautiful leaf! Hoyas usually go dorment in winter, hopfully they will grow a lot in spring and summer. And yes, don't cut the vines. I know that their growth pattern is strange but that is why we love them. Thanks for sharing and happy growing.

Hoyas are climbing, vining plants, not bushes (there are some exceptions, I think). They develop their leaves in pairs. It's common for them to develop long stems first and then leaves. I agree that their growth habit is not very pretty. It often takes a long time for cuttings to really start growing, I think because they develop their roots first and are slow growers. It's best to keep them in smaller pots, also because most of them don't like a lot of water or the soil to stay wet. I struggle with most of my hoyas, especially getting the watering right. Never got any to flower.

What kind of bulbs are used for planting and how many hours per day? Or planted in the house and use sunlight Please help. Each leaf is very beautiful, fresh green, without any defects. Great.

Nice selection of Hoyas I never heard of some of these kinds. Where did you purchase these from? And I hope you see them flower in your lifetime.

What a nice collection! Yes, we learn as we go along. What type of soil do you use?

Hoyas are very slow growers to begin with and as any other plants started from cuttings, they first focus on producing roots first and then growths/ leaves. Is painful to wait for them to do anything that's why except watering I completely ignore mine, also I noticed from the past that since October/ November until mid or late January they "freeze" and do absolutely nothing. Yours are doing fine, just be patient with them.
