RIP BlackBerry 10… I'm Going To Miss BB10

I'm really going to miss BlackBerry 10! RIP BlackBerry 10.

BlackBerry 10 is the most iconic, advanced, and awesome Operating System ever made - in my humble opinion. It was the best answer BlackBerry had to iPhone and iOS, and also Android. But, unfortunately it came a little too late and BlackBerry missed the writing on the wall in many areas and failed to address the needs of the market and the direction it was going. BlackBerry 10 gave us some iconic phones such as the BlackBerry Classic, the BlackBerry Passport, the BlackBerry Z30, BlackBerry Q10, BlackBerry Porsche Series devices and much much more, and I'm going to miss it!

Blackberry took a stand to prioritize security and it paid a price, consumers don't really understand the amount of damage its gonna cause a few years down the line! Blackberry had everything from style to performance and freakin built like a TANK!!! I miss BB #BlackBerrysNeverDie

I miss my Z30 more than any tech device I’ve ever owned. BB OS10 was the best.

I use to be a blackberry REP and trying to convince reps at stores to use something other than the iPhone was impossible. When I showed people what the blackberry could do they were blown away. The truth was there were no apps. Blackberry should have used BBM when everyone was using it and allowed it to be everywhere long before they did. I think that would have got people in the mind set to want BB. It was the best operating system I have ever used period.

Yes everything Blackberry is the best. My Red Blackberry Passport was and still is the best phone I ever had. There is no comparison to BB10 OS, no other OS is better. It kills me to see it die this way. My only hope is the new Phones from Onward Mobility will be better than any phone on the market today.

Very good points. A sad day. I still remember getting the z10 on launch day here in Canada thinking of all the possibilities. Bb10 was great and ahead of its time for sure. Loved the passport. My fav phone ever . Thanks for the video

Thanks for the nice love letter to BB10. I'll miss it too. Agree that BB had an identity crisis and the launch was a bit confusing. But wow, was it great when it was "fully cooked" as you said. It was the first mobile browser at the time that was a genuine pleasure to use.

Only BB10 device I have left is a Q5 that has a broken sim card slot. Every now and then I charge it/pick it up/use it for basic stuff. Love the form factor and the feel of the OS. I had the Passport, Q10, and Z30 in the past. They were all excellent. Mobile devices/OSes aren't the same any more.

I refuse to switch over to a new phone. I don't care about apps! Still using and loving my Classic even thou ppl give me a lot of grief about it. I don't care because I love it forever and will use it till the last day possible! I never want to be without my BlackBerry :( thanks for the great video.

I miss BB10 all the time. I wish the Passport would have been available on Verizon. But My Z30 was awesome. Best virtual keyboard, solid build. I hate that we only have Apple and Android now.

I still use my passport as an mp3 player.
I think about it, big "square" screen perfect for album art, big stereo speakers, neutral audio headphone jack, secure when connected to Wi-Fi, massive battery, bigger storage than 99.9% of mp3 players....

But I get it. Most people are trend seekers and only listen to songs that are popular. I tend to listen to dozens of different genres, obscure musicians, and when I travel I like ambient sounds for sleeping too. It's a great mp3 for people who hold onto albums for long periods of time.

I agree 1000%. I’ve always told folks that iOS and Android have copied BB10 in essence in so many ways. What now is a fad was once so harshly criticized. Amazing. I still have a Classic and love it. Unfortunately i can’t use it as my main driver. I purchased an iPhone 12 mini (I prefer smaller pocket devices) and it has a BB10 vibe to it like the Z30 or Z10. It is what it is. Thank you for your videos. I really appreciate it them. Salute from Puerto Rico. 🙏

*Still using my BlackBerry Classic that I purchased new six years ago.* No security issues, the battery is still strong and everything still works as new. I purchased another one "New In Open Box" as a backup just in case my first one failed. I never had to use it and still have it. Proud BlackBerry was started in Canada and of my Canadian made BlackBerry Classic. 😁

I still can't finish one email without appreciating the Z30 keyboard! I loved BB10 so much that I got Z10 first (because it was affordable) and as soon as I could afford got a Z30 as well, knowing that I would have to sideload WhatsApp! No OS will ever come even close to offering such a smooth experience even in the next few years.
