EXPLORING A CLASSIC CAR AUCTION IN WINTER! HAMPSON AUCTIONS

Welcome back all,

In this weeks video I take a trip up to Bolesworth Castle and attend Hampson Auctions, last classic sale of 2024. This was a great sale with plenty of lots that interested me, including some fast Fords & one low milage Saxo that we've seen before! I love attending as many of these classic car auctions that I can and when I spot the same car at different auction houses it makes for an interesting story!

Going into the new year I will be switching up the style of these auction videos and trying to record more Lots, as I didn't even feature 20% of the cars offered into Hampton auctions sale. Please do feel free to comment below suggestions of vehicles you would like to see feature in these videos.

Back in 95 I had a 95 small turbo Escort Cosworth with the same 4 headlight conversion. It was Mallard Green and was an ex-Ford demonstrator with all the extras. You couldn't get any fuelling upgrades so I had to settle for a 275bhp ECU only upgrade. #goodolddays

Another good vid mate. I wanted to see how much the 1986 635CSi I spotted in the background went for, mainly because I've got one...Another time maybe! Not really sure about the e24 ute though. Why anyone would want to change those classic looks for a ute is beyond me, but hey, live and let live. Cheers from a very wet and windy Otford, Kent.

E24 UTE was my favourite, unusual to the extreme but at that money it could sit there and be just an occasionally user.

Alright Mitch… another awesome video, chuckled at the auto fiesta, swooned and got a bit lustful at first RS and then you got to the beemer ute and me eyeballs popped out me head in like a cartoon style in amazement, yeah wow.. Carry on a bit an then the Orion, phoarrrr in a can’t explain way! And then the escort Cossy and a dream I had about getting one and using as me daily driver, you know like supermarket, kebab shop, like day to day stuff cos it’s made to just nut it around and enjoy it but all of them are probably hidden away in heated garages and hardly used, do more lottery lmao, nice one Mitch and Mitch fan club.
As a side note, I was in Aldi carpark the other day, the missis was in getting a few bits, and I first heard it, then saw some mustang come rumbling in, and it looked like it had been rallying or something, like proper dirty, so me being me gets out of me to chat to the driver, and some normal looking lady gets out and the first thing I can think and say is “ I’ll give you a fiver if I can clean your car” we laugh and she goes into Aldi, googled it and it was some Shelby Gt500 beast…
