Biggest fail ever: *Putting the iconic JP T. rex roar onto a Triceratops.*

They left out the part of its brain that talked about intelligence. For a dinosaur, it was quite smart, able to plot and plan ambushes, with the help of the senses mentioned in this video.

How much intelligence does it take to go " uhmm hear food, go this way-- uhmm smell food, go this way-- uhmm see food, bite, get food"

T.Rex was still intelligent enough for it's time. The dinosaurs didn't have to solve rocket science or anything like that either. Even if they where big idiots they are still awesome. If the asteriode didn't hit the earth 65 million years ago they would still roam the earth. It's because of all those mass extinction that humans are alive today. In my opinion humans are too smart and too dumb for our own good.

So, going by how the narrator described Tyrannosaurus as a triple-threat due to its senses, could it become a sextuple threat if two were to hunt together?

Insane sense of smell, sight, and hearing, as well as the strongest bite force of any land animal in the history of Earth. Definitely a hunger, not just a scavenger.

Some dinosaurs have been found with feathers, and we know this because of the imprints found around the fossils. But out of the tons of T-Rex's ever discovered, never have we found their fossilized remains surrounded by the imprints of feathers. Archaeopteryx, on the other hand, had distinct feather imprints found around its fossil, so we do know that it was a feathered gliding dinosaur.

Sensitive hearing and "echo location" are two different things. I think the voice-over comment about Rex echo-locating his prey was just a bit of careless writing unless there's some fossil evidence that T-Rex made sounds specifically to bounce off surrounding objects in the manner of bats.

Do not forget that this animal was a hunter. It had forward-facing eyes, which gave it an advantage, a huge eyesight range in fact. Sense of smell was as acute as it could be. And it was clever. These animals had to be, in order to eat. They were perfectly-suited to their environment. Yes, they probably scavenged, as any hunter would if they came across an easy meal. But make no mistake, they were intelligent as intelligent as ravens and crows I should imagine., .

1. I apologize, I did some research and found out that it you were right about burning fat.
2. Flightless birds (Ostrich, etc.), have strong legs but do not have heavy bodies. They are not likely to trip, and can use their wings to balance themselves when turning or stopping. Rex did not have anything but that tail to help it move around.
