Показать описание
Most of the songs written at the time exploited tension and release as an effect, in addition to harmonic movement. These kinds of songs were popularized in the late 1960s by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Deep Purple. Many fans expressed their displeasure, with some believing that the lyrics were lacking, while others just felt that they could not connect with the music. Even Nevertheless, several bands, notably the Beatles, continued to produce heavy tunes, leaving a legacy. This heritage has inspired innumerable bands and musicians to continue making new heavy music even today. Which Beatles song do you think could pass for a hard tune? What songs do you consider to be their heaviest?

How could Revolution not be on this list? Me and my Monkey. She's so Heavy.

Maybe I don't understand the definition of heavy music, but I would have said stuff like; Rain, Revolution, She's so Heavy, I've got a feeling, Don't Let me down.

I would add "I Dig a Pony" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" to your list.

"Norwegian Wood" was heavy stuff. George Harrison introducing the sitar
to the world in freaking 1965. The Beatles were and still are the best ever.

Revolution, I Want You, uh... My Guitar Gently Weeps with the decending main riff.

How on earth can you leave off "I want you (She's so heavy)"?

In my opinion "Tomorrow Never Knows", is the heaviest Beatles ever. The lyrics and musical arrangement, make that song pretty freakin' heavy!

Also, what about "It's All Too Much", with that distorted guitar intro, and that thick Wall of Mud production throughout.

I honestly don't know how you can consider songs like Happiness is a Warm Gun and Help! while ignoring Revolution and Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except for Me and My Monkey but that's what makes videos like this fun.

Thanks for your channel, I appreciate the work you're doing.

No one like them has been able to draw on all the musical styles that existed at that time and transform them into what is current music.

I assume omitting I Want You (She's So Heavy) was deliberately to piss us off.
