👉 Learn how to find the critical values of a function. The critical values of a function are the points where the graph turns. They are also called the turning points of a function.

To obtain the critical points of a function, first, we obtain the first derivative of the function. Next, we set the first derivative equal to zero and solve for x. the values of x obtained are the critical points of the function.

I like how you got the common denominator. I usually call these things critical numbers and not critical values. Why? Values often refer to output numbers, and I try to reserve that word for things identifying outputs, such as zeros, maximums, minimums, and extrema.
