Redex diesel system cleaner. Will 2 bottles in one tank clean your engine?Tested

I recently tried putting 2 bottles of Redex in one tank of fuel. let's see if it does clean the inside of the engine.

Why would a "fuel system" cleaner work on a pipe that recirculates exhaust gases? Maybe check areas that come into contact with the fuel like pistons and valves

the only thing is this can actually clean (if it does anything) is the fuel tank, fuel lines, interior of the injectors. The only valuable test would be to get a set of injectors with confirmed bad spray pattern and then check the spray pattern after 1 or 2 full tank of fuel system cleaner.

On my E92, 335d i just removed the egr and intake manifold, then just cleaned it with a dessert spoon using oven cleaner.

Redex stuff i just used it mostly for fuel tank and pipe and injectors.

You can't clean an EGR valve with a fuel additive. . .

redex does not clean egr valves or carbon built up. redex only cleans fuel system. if you are using redex to clean soot or carbon then you are using the wrong product
