Repairing L/R String Launcher

I was about to head on my way home from my friend's house from hanging out and such, until her little brother's L/R string launcher wasn't protracting, which he asked is she could fix it. Apparently, she didn't had knowledge on beyblades or of knowing how to repair small parts. Luckily I was still was around so she then asked me if I could fix the string launcher for him. Usually I don't see this as a problem for me so I accepted her request. *If you are to use a L/R String launcher, be extra careful on the launcher when fixing it. *

Unfortunately, due to some issues that I am having with my camera. The disassembly of the string launcher will have to wait until my camera is fixed.

So my retracter switch just keeps spinning and it doesn't tighten at all. Is this fixable or is it proper busted?

My string launcher string pulls but won't wind back up on its own can any of you post a link on how to fix that problem.

my grandpa fixed mine, and hes never used avbetblade launcher, i wasnt the string that was the problem, it was the spring inside of it
