Determine the end behavior of a graph as well as the zeros and degree

Показать описание
👉 Learn how to determine the end behavior of a polynomial function from the graph of the function. To do this we look at the endpoints of the graph to see if it rises or falls as the value of x increases. If the graph of the polynomial rises left and rises right, then the polynomial has an even degree and a positive leading coefficient. If the graph of the polynomial falls left and falls right, then the polynomial has an even degree and a negative leading coefficient. If the graph of the polynomial falls left and rises right, then the polynomial has an odd degree and a positive leading coefficient. If the graph of the polynomial rises left and falls right, then the polynomial has an odd degree and a negative leading coefficient.
The degree of the polynomial function can also be determined from the number of zeros and the number of turns of the graph of the polynomial.
