What if i don’t need open tailgate by walking close by it? Would it be an issue? If they want implement this awesome feature, it should be smarter detect that my hand is full and my body directly faced to the tailgate. Or recognize voice command.

My 2017 Sonata did that, I had to turn it off because the trunk always popped open even when I just walked by, In hated it but its not something miraculous, its been around for a long time

It used to be that Hyundai would copy features from other manufacturers...now other manufacturers are copying features from Hyundai. The world really has turned upside down.
