Hey everyone! In today's review I'll be getting in this 1996 Ford Crown Victoria and test driving it. This car is now 24 years old currently in May 2020 and I was actually impressed with it. Yes it needs a good detail, but it has cold AC and the motor felt strong. Would you purchase a vehicle like this? Did you ever own a Crown Vic yourself and if so what did you think about it?

I actually own a 93 with just a shade over 130, 000 miles on her. She was the first car I've ever bought, and no matter what other cars I may buy in my life, I'm holding onto her until the wheels fall off. No car I've driven has had such a high quality of ride comfort, and in their quest to combine luxury cars with sports cars, I don't think we ever will again.

Not wrong for thinking its a 5.0, previous generation had them, but the Aero style Crown Victorias/Marquis/Town Cars started off with the 4.6.

My 1997 Vic has 191, 000 miles on it. Besides clear coat failure, car has been a champ!

I do own and daily drive a ‘95 LX with 229, 500 miles on it.
Never ever had any issues with it.
The engine is strong and quiet, transmission shifts smooth, no rust, no smoke.
It is still a pure joy to drive all year round, does pretty well in north American winter snow.
Everything has been well preserved, A/C blows cold as well ;)
My son is 15 and we are already starting to look around for new of those ‘95s
There is nothing like a good ol’ Crown Vic.

My 96 crown vic I pick up 3 days ago from a from a 91 yr.old lady, original owner with 85g miles, it's been garaged and dealer serviced since owner, it looks, rides and drives like new with ice cold air, I love it and it's definitely a keeper

I have a 97 CVLX as my second car. Had some work done on it recently, including adding dual exhaust and it has never driven better. I’ve owned it for 20yrs now. Doesn’t leak a drop of anything. Smooth 4.6L, not 5.0.

1991 LTD Crown Victoria was the last year Ford used the V8 5.0L engine. The V8 4.6L is a great motor. I have a 2011 Mercury Grand Marquis. 🚗

I just bought my dream car, a ‘97 Crown Vic, fully loaded! Flew out to NY to buy it and drove it 2200 miles home!

I bought a 96 in 2016 and drove it until it was 213K miles and a head gasket blew. If I knew what I had and how rare this body style had become I would’ve paid to put a remanufactured motor into it

My dad passed away and I got his 96 crown Vic PI cop car. It has only 108, 000 miles on it. Drove it 470 miles home with no issues other than the steering is sloppy.

My dad had a 1994 ford crown vic that was dark cherry over a tan cloth interior....LX model single exhaust one wheel peeler lmao. It had 140k and we sold it at 180k? was a comfy car for a better part of 5 years! I still miss that car to this day!

Damn this looks exactly like mine. White walls and everything. I like the look of these more than the 98+. I even get 400+ miles on 1 fill up
