How did they calculate your science GPA? Did they add your science GPA for each year and then divide it by the number of years. Or did they calculate your science GPA by the number of units/credits times the grade you got divided by the units/credits?

This has given me so much hope! Im really hoping to go to UCI and im applying this upcoming cycle. I wanted to ask what are the most important ECs that you think got you in? I have a good mcat and GPA (519 3.9) but am worried I lack volunteering hours and clinical experience. Thank you!

I’m a junior in undergrad and I’m worried about my lack of extracurriculars, I missed on a lot of experiences because of COVID, so I don’t have a long list like yours, what do you suggest I do to address that concern since I am planning on applying after one or two gap years?

If I am wanting to participate in a summer clinical research internship the year I am applying to med school (this will be next year, the 2023 cycle) should I wait until after the experience to submit my application? To be more clear, most applications will open at the very beginning of June 2022, but my summer internship will be from the beginning of June to mid-July. I don't know if I should wait to submit or just submit it as early as I can. Any suggestions?

Started my first semester off with almost all C’s😭. I was able to get one A in history lmao. Shouldn’t be laughing but I have to smile to not be upset. With that being said, do you think they would excuse students first year grades due to Covid? On top of that my father was diagnose with cancer and I was 400 miles away from home with no roommate. Btw, I love your setup it’s so dope🔥.

Taking the MCAT in August seems ideal, considering you'll have a summer off (most likely) to focus solely on this exam. Did taking a later MCAT hinder your progress in the application process at all? Thanks for the helpful vid
