Kamala Harris to ‘avoid all’ media appearances through to the election

Political journalist John Fund expects Kamala Harris will “try to skate” and never do a one-on-one interview with a challenging journalist up until the presidential election.

In her first sit-down interview after formally accepting the nomination at the party's convention last week, the Vice President was grilled on a number of issues such as the American economy, the Israel-Gaza conflict and her opponent Donald Trump.

“That will be the most amazing lack of transparency and accountability and ability of the American people to evaluate the candidates since Richard Nixon ran the Watergate re-election campaign of 1972,” Mr Fund told Sky News host James Morrow.

“Now we have the internet, we have podcasts, we have five or six cable news channels and she will avoid all of them if she can through the entire campaign.”

You can't justify that. If she's such a strong and independent brown woman then she can face the media. If she can't do that, she can't cope in office.
