She’s in a continuous state of low-level hysteria. Part of her knows she is outclassed, outranked, and totally out of her league. She’s able to keep a lid on that awareness except when she is called upon to perform functions and duties relevant to her stolen role. At those times the nervous laughter, inappropriate language, and bizarre rhetoric reveal all. So far she’s been too proud to get coaching, but that would mean admitting something is wrong. Also, the press might find out.

At this point, even if she gets coaching and somehow manages to hold herself together, she’s so far gone and so fake that other reveals will slip out that will also need management. Watch for them!
