Just got ruby red Gen S lenses. WOW. When it's a real sunny day they are very soothing on the eyes and has a nice ruby red color. It's cool when looking at black top roads there is a ruby red tint to it. They transition to clear very fast indoors. Hopefully they can make ruby red for extractive and extractive Polarized some day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RUBY RED.

Got a pair of Oakley “Airdrop” frames in “Black Ink” (glossy black) with Ruby Transitions Gen S lenses, and the color is marvelous. Very soothing on the eyes when activated and definitely makes a statement. I absolutely love those Tom Davies TD731 frames in red with the blue inlays, but I don’t know if I could “pull off” the look, at least in my professional environment. Also very fond of the TD730 in the brown/blue “sandwich” combo, but I’d really need to try them on in-person to see whether they’d work for me.

I’ve got the Gen 8 and the Gen S both in Sapphire blue .
There is No difference in the colours whatsoever!!
however the gen s does change go clear a quite a bit quicker

I just got mine a few days ago and mine doesn't get that dark and look more od a brownish red yours looks more red i use a uv light then tried in sun and the sun was bright and only went tinted a little bit 😢 i even watch thia video before i ordered cause i was gonna get the blue, green or red and i loved how the red looked ...do you think it was where i got them

You should make a video showing the other colors as well in the new generation, I’m on the fence about getting some glasses in the Gen S sapphire blue and I’m wondering what it looks like in all its transitioning phases. From what I can see in your other video it looks like it’s a more rich true blue, so I wonder what that looks like in all transitioning phases.:)
