Leveraging Generative AI in Education - A M Aditya

In this talk from ODSC APAC 2023, A M Aditya discussed how Generative AI can help educators automate tasks, provide feedback, and grade assignments. It can also be used to create personalized learning materials for students. But, there are ethical and privacy concerns associated with using generative AI in education. For example, generative AI can be used to create fake content, such as fake news articles or fake academic papers. This can be used to spread misinformation or to plagiarize someone else's work. Additionally, generative AI can be used to collect data about students without their knowledge or consent.
These are all areas that must be addressed as generative AI continues to expand into education.
