Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) Change Out/Migration - Simplex Model 2001 to 4100ES

We wanted to show the world how SimplexGrinnell has taken the concept of backwards compatibility to the extreme. SimplexGrinnell provides a fire alarm system technology solution and migration path for our customers even when the existing system has been in the building for almost 30 years. As you can see from this video, we are able to migrate a mature Simplex model 2001 out of the building and replace it with our newest flagship fire alarm system, the Simplex 4100ES. The Simplex model 2001 fire alarm control panel had orginally been installed in 1987. We are able to maintain the back box enclosure. This sytem migration took one full day.
