Do NOT do this. Shampoo is a deep cleanser and will get everything drained out. And I mean everything. This includes dirt, oils, etc. If you put conditioner before, you are just washing out the conditioner completely and you won't get any of the benefits. You're just wasting your conditioner and money. Btw this info comes from a hairstylist.

My husband has been doing this for years. At first I thought he was just being corky haha but it actually helps his curly hair. Makes it soft, easier to comb through and braid too. I definitely recommend at least trying it!

Shampoo opens your hair, conditioner closes it. As a hairdresser I say DON'T DO THIS.

it’s actually good to wash your hair „reverse“!
it’s difficult to wash out conditioner completely, if you use shampoo after conditioner, you’ll get rid of the leftovers, and it’s still healthy for your hair and won’t take away the positive affects of it. super cool! and i’ll try it too

I tried this for a few weeks once. It was a terrible decision. My hair started getting insanely staticky. It was terrible, and no matter what I did, my hair would still have static. Once I realized that it started when I tried washing my hair in reverse, I switched back to how I normally washed it. My hair is much better now.

If you see the comments saying it’s bad for your hair and stuff it isn’t.
If you look it up it’s actually recommended by serveral hair stylists and more professions with hair. There’s no way to wash your hair so either way works, it just depends on what works for your hair.
EDIT: look at my recent comment in replies for my feedback on trying it.

Shampoo clenses if you apply conditioner to dirty hair it'll accumulate dirt and then it'll keep getting layered

I do conditioner, shampoo twice and then conditioner again. Then a leave in spray conditioner heat protectant anti frizz before blow drying. I have long and dry hair so this works the best for me. I’m a licensed cosmetologist.
