Bootlegger’s Whisky Stash Found by Couple Renovating House

Показать описание
A New York couple was renovating an old house when they found more than 60 bottles of whiskey from the prohibition era. Nick Drummond and Patrick Bakker found the alcohol inside the walls and under the floorboards. Lift off the cover, and there’s banned booze straight out of the roaring twenties. The stash had been hidden there for nearly a hundred years. Many of the bottles were bundled together and wrapped in brown paper and straw. #InsideEdition

The real news story here, is that the siding on this house hasn’t been replaced in over 100 years. That’s more impressive than some old whiskey

Should’ve waited 3 more years for a perfect 100 years...

🤦🏻‍♂️ Thank You all for guidance on Whiskey gets better with age.
And for those who raised questions on why not drink it?
It’s a choice/preference/option that I would choose for myself.

Edit: (again)

Imagine this house had caught on fire with all that booze stashed.
That would have been a hell of a fire. :D

Just recently found out my great great grandfather was a bootlegger in Kentucky who worked with Al Capone. It’s crazy to think how much history is hidden from us until we go out and try to find it.
