Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth, Chairman of the Board of the Würth Group celebrated his 89th birthday on April 20, 2024! 🎂

The NFDA announced that the 2024 recipient of its Fastener Professional of the Year award is Marc Strandquist. Marc’s family will accept the NFDA Fastener Professional of the Year award in his memory at the NFDA Annual Meeting in Irving, Texas on June 13, 2024.

Daniel Westberg has been appointed the new CEO for Nord-Lock Group. Mr. Westberg will assume his responsibilities as CEO on August 1, 2024.

FASTENER INDUSTRY EVENTS:

BTM, ISSCO, Twin Lakes Insurance Agency, and Wachter are joining forces again to build beds for the Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization on May 4th Their goal is to build 120 beds for kids in the Kansas City area that do not have a bed of their own and otherwise sleep in unfavorable conditions. To do this they need your help. The cost of this project is $30,000. The funds will provide necessary lumber and hardware to build and assemble the 120 beds as well as provide the mattresses, pillows and bedding to make them complete.
