Hearing Paimon whimper with legit fear this whole time- it was honestly so interesting. I normally listen to JP voice acting- and it was even more exaggerated there. I also love the fact how Raiden had pointed her sword at Paimon as an indication to move, whilst Paimon was basically giving Lumine CPR.

Ok. For real my favourite cutscene in the game. Especially in the JP dub you really hear just how scared Paimon is aswell. Fuckin broke me and I wont lie about it. Also THOMA WITH THE FUCKIN DEAD ON THROW.

why do i always like it when a character is on their knees, ties up, and they have that sort of expression, it's like a... "I'm gonna get out of this, you'll see.." kind of look, angry determination.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for Thoma, and Paimon trying to help always cracks my heart, but my favorite part was Lumines elemental showcase.
What i mean is there's been at least one moment in every chapter so far where they've been shown adapting to a new element and showcasing their new skills, like how wind was a big part of the stormterror boss, and when they create a landslide at the last second during child's boss. This was the first real moment where it wasn't just the magic of the element showcased, but the enhancement on the person itself.
Lemme put it this way. Wind (Anemo) could be used to lighten a load, make your weapon easier to use and boost momentum in your attacks. Earth (Geo) could be used to armor yourself, like with the traveller's Boulder shield. And what's the best way to use lightning outside of attacks? speed. They're always small moments in each chapter but i think it's a really nice way to watch a silent protagonist evolve without being too obvious. I'm also reeeeaaalllly hoping we get a moment like that in Sumeru, I wanna see them go full Layla Williams on the Balladeer.
