The bible knows nothing of Mary's perpetual virginity. In fact, it contradicts it. Perpetual virginity was a myth started in (probably) the late first century. The Apostle John refers to it in his epistles. He says that Jesus came in the flesh and if anybody says otherwise, they were antichrist.

For Jesus to have been born without destroying Mary's hymen, He would had to have moved through her as if He were a spirit. If you read _The Infancy Gospel of James_ (a second century forgery), this is exactly how Christ's birth is depicted. Jesus came as a spirit so that Mary's virginity could be preserved.

John calls that, antichrist-teaching.
