On this week's show, I use some scrap plywood and some old adding machine paper, to make a handy workbench note pad. I hope you enjoy the project.

Kenny, clever little idea and yet another way to use up scraps. Guess I will need to keep my eye out for those rolls at sales. Great idea once again, thanks.

I usually keep a pad of post it notes in my apron so I have everything when I go to each machine. But this would be handy to keep on the bench. I think I will put a pencil holder on the side. I use a drafting pencil to mark measurements like you but I have a ton of pencils and that way there’s always one there even if it’s not sharp. Another great idea. I need to go back through my shop notes magazines for ideas. Thanks 😊

Nice way to clean up some scrap and paper rolls. The only thing I would ad would be a holder for the pencil. Great project and brings back some great memories when life was so much simpler.

Hi Kenny! Good job! I'm always looking for a scratch pad in the shop. I get most of mine from the real estate agents that seem to think they are great advertising. But, they tend to get buried. With your project, it will stand up and not get buried. Regards, Bill

As usual another great project. The adding machine rolls are still readily available-I have a technician who uses them at her work station and we keep them in stock in the supply cabinet.
As mentioned in another comment I would add some way to keep the pencil handy to the notepad.

I'm lazy Kenny, I would have tried to stack cut the sides lol. Nice project, simple and useful.

I like it and the rolls are still available. They do come in various widths. Reminded me of an incident: I did service work for a business machine company. Banks had these large teller machines that used two ply carbonless rolls. I was carrying one out to take it to the repair shop and the back paper cover opened. The paper roll literally unrolled itself across the bank lobby floor with me in hot pursuit of the runaway roll. I'm sure there were snickers then and probably for the rest of the day. I didn't make that mistake again.
