What a brilliant idea - these circuit simulators are somewhat intimidating to me so I highly appreciate you doing a series with this Faltstad Simulator!
Re Patreon: I am a longtime supporter to your very thorough and very well explained electronics courses. The fact that I don't go see the videos for the donors is because the lead time is just 1 day or so only. And as I am in no hurry I almost every time see them when they are already released into the open.
So, yes, your explanation seems accurate, in that people support you on Patreon because they like what you do and how you do it and not so much because of this 1 day preview time. Of course that's all IMHO ;-)

The yellow line in the scope is the current, at the same point. You can modify the parameters of the scope with the small settings icon in the left bottom corner.

I think you should leave the power the way it was and simply replace the resistors one by one with a pot and adjust that and I think you will learn more...cheers.
